Expromet acquires Haworth Castings

Haworth Castings is a non-ferrous foundry and machining facility located in Romsey and Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Specialising in high integrity cast and machined components for the defence, aviation, marine, medical, automotive, energy and safety critical industries, Haworth Castings provide a fully managed service from initial design to final production.

After 50 years of family ownership, the acquisition is a positive step for the future of Haworth Castings. Joining a focused foundry group such as Expromet, will enable the company to benefit from the resources, investment and management experience of a larger business.

It will also be beneficial to Haworth Casting’s customers, who will be able to access a wider range of engineering solutions through Investacast’s UK manufacturing site and its supply chain partners in Asia.
